BIO - ABOUT ME

With over 15 years experience in Primary Care I have a wealth of knowledge of the industry.

I understand how Practices work and I know the challenges that we are facing. 

​

Working in General Practice and seeing the way we work made me realise there was a very real need for Practice Management Support. 

​

The fast paced nature of the job and the constant fire fighting leaves little time for getting new projects off the ground, staff training or even the basic day to day things like running payroll and completing the book keeping in a timely manner. I can help with all of these things. 

​

I have experience of managing dispensing and non-dispensing practices. I am an advanced user of both Emisweb and Vision. I can write complex searches, protocols and templates and perform almost all tasks on Emis and Vision. 

​

I have excellent knowledge of finance in Primary Care having experience in both Finance at Health Board level and Finance Management in Primary Care, plus my role as a Dispex Tutor - I deliver webinars on Practice Finance via Dispex and ensure my knowledge is always up to date. 

​

I am a founding member of the Institute of General Practice Management, a Member of the Practice Managers Association and an associate member of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics.
